Research Assistant, BreathAI Lab, Nanyang Technological University
I am a Research Assistant at the BreathAI Lab, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), working with Prof. Wei Lu.
My research includes, but is not limited to, latent reasoning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and latent representations of LLMs.

Experience
Working with Prof. Wei Lu on the hidden representations of LLMs and on post-training for reasoning.
Leading a team of 4 researchers on VLegal-Bench, the first public benchmark for Vietnamese legal reasoning in LLMs, with Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh (HUST) and Prof. Binh Vu (SRH Heidelberg). Adapting graph-based retrieval methods for large Vietnamese legal document collections.
Advised by Dr. Dung D. Le. Work on reasoning inside the model's hidden states for retrieval (LAnR), LLMs for recommendation (COLM 2025, Machine Learning Journal), and a multi-agent system that writes scientific surveys (SurveyG).
Built the graph-based recommendation system and the search system (with LLM-based intent detection) for TV360, Vietnam's national digital TV platform, serving about 100K daily users. Built the data pipelines behind both systems and the executive dashboard.

1st of 8,000 students, for a cross-domain recommendation system.
1st of 400 teams, awarded by the Institute of Mathematics, VAST. Built a Markov-chain model for insurance pricing.
GPA 3.78 / 4.00.
